Are letters still a thing?

When was the last time you received a letter in the mail or sent a letter?

Do you remember getting letters in the mail and the excitement they would bring you?

We have so much at our digital fingertips: text, Instagram and Twitter DM’s, Facebook messenger. And if you like to send voice messages you can do that too.

Don’t get me wrong these are all great ways to communicate and stay in touch. I use them but I was wondering if anyone out there is still getting out a pen and paper and sending some “How are you’s” or “Just thinking about you” via good ole snail mail.

The world is moving so fast and we all like quick and convenient but just maybe we can slow down and and put our pens and paper to work for a few minutes and send some love and light someones way. Send your letter to someone you talk to a lot or not that often. Let me know how it goes and remember you will need a postage stamp. 😉

“To write is human, to receive a letter: Divine!”

― Susan Lendroth

“Letter writing can be seen as a gift because someone has taken his/her time to write and think and express love.”― Soraya Diase Coffelt

“A musician is similar to someone who wrote a letter to the loved one. Then decided to read read it out loud instead of sending it.”- Mwanandeke Kindembo
